We are a Non-Profit Community and our Mission is to Empower Youth with Financial Literacy so when they become contributing adults to our society they have the ability to
create lasting positive impact...

Right now, more than 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck AND 69% of households have less than $1,000 in emergency savings!

Part of the root cause on this issue is that when we are growing up, we are not taught personal financial literacy in our school system. Zen Coast Cares looks forward to CHANGE this.

Join us on this journey of empowerment, as we inspire, educate, and uplift the next generation at Zen Coast Cares. Together, we build bridges to brighter futures, one child at a time.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

EDUCATION

We go to Middle and High Schools to educate our youth on the essential knowledge and skills necessary for navigating the complexities of financial literacy and get them exposed to how to thrive in the real world, so they can  be equipped and be able to give back to the next generation.

EDUCATE OUR KIDS!

DEVELOPMENT

Getting financial literacy is not just a one-time thing... it is over time being surrounded by an environment that creates the habit. We want to keep them exposed to the mindset and language around financial literacy, and equip them with ongoing video education to create the habits to sustain kids to adulthood!

Calvin taught me how to save my money, how time is important and not to be afraid. He said we needed to work hard to earn money.

Calvin  & Jennie was nice. They told us a lot about their job and they are good investor. iI learned quite a lot about how to succeed and do well.

I learned more than just one thing and that everyone struggles in life. Importance of school to succeed in the future.

Patty Paik

Director of Communication

I am a Bay Area native, proud nurse and mother of two beautiful daughters. Growing up in a household where financial literacy was not valued, together with my husband, we have embarked on a journey to gain this essential knowledge later in life. Driven by these experiences, I'm passionate about empowering future generations with financial literacy at a young age. As a member of the Zen Coast Cares team, I'm dedicated to ensuring all children (including my own) have the tools and knowledge needed to navigate financial landscapes, providing them with opportunities to flourish, lead and positively impact the world.
